Advisors
The Scott G. Green Foundation is now inviting dedicated individuals to lend their wisdom, experience, and vision as advisors to our growing preservation movement. We are building a trusted circle of experts and community voices to help shape programs that honor and safeguard the cultural legacy of Black Arkansans.
Whether you’re an academic, artist, builder, policy leader, or neighborhood elder—your insight can guide us forward.
We are especially seeking advisors in the following areas:
-
Historic Preservation – to guide restoration and protection of Black historic sites
-
Education & Legacy – to help develop youth and community history initiatives
-
Cultural Arts & Interpretation – to shape how we tell our stories through exhibits and media
-
Media & Communications – to support outreach, digital storytelling, and visibility
-
Fundraising & Grants – to help build sustainability through donor strategy and grant writing
-
Civic & Policy Engagement – to advise on planning, zoning, and heritage policy
-
Community Engagement & Faith-Based Leadership – to ground our work in lived experience and trusted relationships
We believe in collective leadership. Our advisors will serve as thought partners—helping guide strategy, opening doors, and ensuring our work reflects both excellence and authenticity.
